Dr. Sheva Khalafbeigi graduated medical school from Universidad Autonoma de Guadalajara in Mexico (2012) and completed a pre-internship at New York Medical College (2013). Dr. Khalafbeigi then completed an anatomic and clinical pathology residency at Penrose-St. Francis Hospital (2013-2017) in Colorado Springs, Colorado and a dermatopathology fellowship at Penn State Health Milton S. Hershey Medical Center (2017-2018) in Hershey, Pennsylvania. She is board certified in anatomic pathology, clinical pathology, and dermatopathology by the American Board of Pathology and American Board of Dermatology. She holds full medical licensure in California, Nevada, Arizona, Florida, Massachusetts, Georgia and Maine. She has worked as a dermatopathologists for diagnostic labs in Miami and Las Vegas and has given multiple lectures and presentations on topics including, Crohn’s Disease, P. Rubra pilaris, mycosis fungoides, Hailey-Hailey Disease, incontinentia pigmenti and general surgical pathology.
Areas of interest: Melanocytic tumors and low grade primary cutaneous lymphomas.
